Who We Are

AshleighNicoleArts is a family owned company driven by a passion for artistic expression. We believe the latent artistic talent in all of us needs, and even seeks a medium of expression.

The path to this expression often begins when a single work of art awakens in us a sense of wonder and curiosity.

The journey continues when we dare ask the question, “I wonder what else I can create?”

Our Mission

Our mission is to discover, create, and provide the best and most affordable artist’s materials to a world full of budding artists such as yourself.

We believe you will fall in love with our AshleighNicoleArt colored pencils again and again, as you unlock and explore the artist within.

We are so convinced of this, that all of our products come with a full 30 day refund warranty.

Why Choose Us

Quality and affordable tools create the best opportunity for rapid expression of our inner most creative genius.

Discovering our talent takes time and resources that are often in short supply.  Obligations, interruptions, and lack of funds can temporarily postpone our artistic expression. But, we’ve found that poor quality drawing materials can take us off the path of creativity all together.

Very often, achieving the right texture, blend or shading through quality tools compels us to move forward in our journey of discovery.

Our Company

Ashleigh Nicole Arts has been a provider of high quality woodless pencils for professionals and artists of all skill levels since August of 2015.  We offer a complete line of Woodless pencils including 9 grades of graphite, soft, medium, and hard charcoal, and 36 vibrant colors. We have sold over 27,000 woodless pencils since August of 2015. Our customer reviews range from Professional Architects to Disney Artists to young budding artists.

Our pencils work great with Adult coloring books. They last 4 times as long as wood encased pencils, which makes them a favorite for art teachers.

Each color pencil is made entirely of highly pigmented lead and strengthened with a special lacquer sheath…. Ashleigh Nicole Arts brand Woodless pencils provide the stress relieving coloring & sketching experience you love without the frustration and waste of traditional wooden pencils.

Our pencils are made entirely of the material you need for your artistic expression. And at over 7mm in diameter, each pencil provides 4 times the amount of drawing or coloring as traditional wooden pencils- cutting your replacement costs by nearly 75%.

The special lacquer finish gives the pencil a smooth and pleasing feel in your hand, and keeps your fingers clean, even when using our charcoal set.

The pencils derive their extra strength and weighty feel from a dense mixture of highly pigmented lead. This allows for uniform coloring without extra pressure, while also giving extra strength when heavy shading or accenting is required.

Customer Testimonials

I am a architect who also teaches so I evaluate materials, tools and technology and from time to time comment on products worth mentioning. I received this product at a discount as an evaluation copy for my honest opinion. These are high quality; it is fairly uncommon to find a pencil that is soft enough to blend and shade but, durable enough to not break every time you apply a little pressure for accenting. If you draw for a living or have had an art class or two you know what I mean. These blend well, they don't crumble when you sand them (to get a slight bevel) and perhaps best of all I don't see myself sharpening them down to nubs and then digging the over-sized lead out of the pencil sharpener. That drives me crazy. Here is the important part, the pencil is made entirely of a pigmented lead so you can get a broad stroke if needed but, this also appears to be what gives the pencil its strength. The shape is comfortable, round, heavily paint coated with varied ranges of softness/hardness from 2H to 10B in Graphite and 3 Charcoal. The colors of the spectrum are hear and vibrant and blend well to achieve nearly every color except white which is not included. This makes for a good starter set or professional set alike. I was expecting something more plastic feeling from a fully pigmented product but, this feels like a sturdy wood pencil. These are drawing pencils so a good quality paper with a Bristol tooth completes the experience. But, I have to admit, I found myself reaching for these to mark up plans on bond where I normally use colored pens. For the novice, don't expect erasers on top of a quality pencil. A kneaded eraser works just find for blending and creating that perfect vignette but a vinyl eraser works fine too. Packaging: I don't like waste these days and I am thankful these come in very convenient cardboard cylinders that fit nicely into a pocket or backpack and won't set off airport detectors. Let's face it, the metal cases for display are bulky, heavy and are impracticable for an artist on the go. Price: I am used to paying a lot for a good writing instrument (usually finding them in Italy) but, the price is also surprisingly less than I expected and I don't think I will cringe when I see them mixed in with my kids crayons. That might actually be a good to see. --Their review to follow. click here to read review - OI-Arch
Very, VERY happy with these pencils. I'm a definite amateur with art and am pretty much planning to use these pencils for adult coloring books and my own zentangles. Ever since I was a kid, my major criterion for loving a pencil or paints was rich, saturated color. I've spent far too much money on more expensive pencil sets, including the biggest set of Prismacolor pencils available but many of them are still not saturated enough for me. Consequently, I'm always pushing too hard and breaking the ends. I just got the 36 pencil Ashleigh Nicole set and tried them all on a piece of paper. I'm THRILLED. Deep, saturated color without having to push too hard and even if I deliberately push very hard, I haven't managed to break any of them. Also, for some reason I've always loved cardboard tubes so I love the packaging. The other thing I like about them: For some reason, the color of the pencil upon application actually seems is true to the color of the pencil itself. I can't tell you how many times I've started using other pencils and been peeved because it doesn't look how I thought it would look. I'm really thrilled. click here to read the review - S. Furguson
I just received them today . . . Wow! Only one problem . . . more colors please. . . . ivory, gold, silver, copper, platinum, pomegranate, salmon, cooked shrimp, dirty gray, etc. Perhaps your colors are mixable once applied? I'll have to try that. I tried a picture with these (an Indian Elephant as they appear in wedding ceremonies . . . talk about needing vibrant colors!); I thought that would really test the brightness/darkness in hues of color quality that I wanted. EXCELLENT! I did have to finish off with my Prismacolor pencils because I needed a few more of the in-between and different colors not offered here. I had only one tiny chip on one of the colors which I consider quite understandable because of the sharpness of the new pencils which are almost needle-like. I see in the future, more colors from you because of your answers to customer questions and you seem to be a very caring company that wants good quality and happy customers. Thank you so much for the wonderful quality . . . INCLUDING INTELLIGENT PACKAGING. carolyn click here to read the review - carolyn
I bought these for my girlfriend as they are one of only two types of woodless colored pencils I can find that are highly rated. She really really likes them just as much or maybe more than the Koh-I-Noor brand woodless colored pencils. Both brands are amazing, worth the purchase and will be buying again if they stay available. click here to read the review - Jeff
I've never really been a big fan of colored pencils for my adult coloring. I prefer markers, gel pens and sharpies. But I decided to give these pencils a try and boy am I glad I did! They are wonderful! Very vivid colors and I love that they are woodless. They are strong too. And the little cylinder containers they come in are awesome. Keeps everything nice and neat. Seriously, give these pencils a try. You won't regret it! click here to read the review - Tarheelbex
Awesome pencils! They sharpen so easily, have a nice heavy weight in your hand, and no more dealing with a soft colored pencil lead breaking off inside a wooden shaft! I would totally buy these again for any of my friends who are into adult coloring, and I would like to buy a bigger set, in fact, for myself. These blend pretty well one on top of the other, and the colors blend ok with your fingers, but I think a blending pencil would be even better. I came across these pencils by total accident; I had no idea there was such a thing as a woodless colored pencil, but I am telling EVERYONE about them now. click here to read the review - Michelle Slaughter
I wanted to try these "woodless" colored pencils and am very pleased with them. The colors are vibrant & there are plenty of color choices. Their Customer Service is top notch. I have received follow up emails from them asking if my shipment arrived & offering to replace any item that may have been broken in shipping free of charge. They even expedited one pencil to me that the tip had broken off of during shipment. The only reason I did not rate the highest score is that the coverage is not always as smooth as I like but perhaps that is more due to the user than the product. Regardless I consider this a great product & recommend it highly. click here to read the review - Amazon Customer
I love love this product! I have arthritis and these pencils you don't have to bare down hard. Plus the colors are bright And they really do replace the color if you break one. The man I spoke too was so nice and suggested solutions for my rolling pencils! click here to read the review - Kindle Customer
We have three sets of colored pencils, and these are our favorites. They virtually never need sharpening, and they are great for filling in large background areas because you can use the whole side of the point. (But I would have traded the light gray for a true brown.) I have a 36 pencil set of Prismacolor as well and they work well together. They also blend well with the Raffine oil based pencils. All in all, these are a great set of pencils for using in Adult Coloring Books. click here to read the review - sbwertz
I absolutely love these pencils AND the customer service is beyond awesome!!!! click here to read the review - Deborah Cleveland-Eddy
I love these pencils my only complaint is they break easily I knocked the box off my table and one of the pencils snapped completely in two and it happened again to a pencil that I dropped that is my only complaint be careful with them click here to read the review - Shirley Stephenson
Love the quality of these pencils! The color is nice and vibrant for the adult coloring books. Can't beat the value you get with a set like this. I own Derwent pencils and a set of Prisma, the woodless ones are in a category by themselves because they are not super hard or soft, they are somewhere in between. I have enjoyed playing with them to see how they layer and blend. The only thing I would say is to watch the quality of paper you use them on, because like I said they are not what you would call an extremely soft creamy color pencil. Also the extended color range is a really wonderful edition to this line of pencils... click here to read the review - cadigirl
I got these pencils for my son and I to color together. They colors are very rich and you can control the lightness or darkness to your own preference. The pencils are very durable as we have not broken any thus far. Absolutely love these pencils. Click here to read the review - jsenms
These woodless colored pencils are a dream. I ordered these along with an adult coloring book and I could not be happier. The colors are vibrant and the pencils have a nice weight to them. I was worried they might feel like they could snap but they are very solid. They almost feel like crayons but color like colored pencils. I would highly recommend this set. It has a really nice array of colors. Click here to read the review Trixie
